Terms of Service
The rules for using Backlink Tracker: your trial, billing and refunds, what you can and can’t do with it, and what we’re responsible for.
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and BackbeatSEO (“we”, “us”), the operator of Backlink Tracker (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms on its behalf, and “you” means that company.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these terms.
2. What the service does
Backlink Tracker checks the backlinks you add, about once a week, and tells you when one is removed, switched to nofollow, returns an error or redirects. It separately tracks whether Google has indexed the page. When a link needs attention, it prepares a recovery message that opens in your own Gmail.
We never send email on your behalf. You decide whether to send each message, and you are the sender of anything you send.
Checks depend on third-party websites and services that we don’t control. A site can block our checker, be temporarily down, or show different content to different visitors, and search data can lag behind Google. So results can be late or wrong, and we can’t promise that any link will be recovered or that your rankings will change.
3. Your account
- Give us accurate information, including a working email address you can verify.
- Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for everything done through your account.
- Tell us promptly at alishiman2000@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to it.
- You must be at least 18 and using the service for business or professional purposes.
4. Free trial and billing
New accounts get a 7-day free trial. You add a card to start it, and you aren’t charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before then, you pay nothing. If you don’t cancel, your card is charged for the plan you chose when the trial ends. If you cancel or your subscription ends, checks and the queue pause. Your data stays in your account.
Paid plans cost $12.99 per month or $129.99 per year, plus any taxes that apply. Stripe processes payments. The first charge happens when your trial ends, and your plan then renews automatically at the same interval until you cancel. We may offer promotion codes, which apply only as described when they’re offered.
If a payment fails, we or Stripe may retry it. If it stays unpaid, your access pauses as if your subscription had ended.
We may change prices. If we do, we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you prefer.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time in Settings, under Manage subscription. Cancel during the trial and you keep access until it ends without being charged. After that, your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for and then doesn’t renew.
If you ask within 14 days of your first payment, we’ll refund that payment in full. Email alishiman2000@gmail.com from the address on your account. After those 14 days, and for renewals, payments aren’t refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
6. Plan limits
- Up to 500 links per account.
- An on-demand check of all your links once every 7 days, on top of the weekly checks.
- Contact discovery, up to 20 lookups per account per day.
We may change these limits. If a change reduces what your plan includes, we’ll tell you in advance.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Add links or contacts you have no legitimate business reason to track.
- Use contact details from the service to send spam, or send messages that break anti-spam laws such as Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) or the US CAN-SPAM Act. You’re responsible for the messages you send.
- Keep contacting a site after it has asked you to stop.
- Use the service to overload, attack or scrape websites, or to get around their access controls.
- Try to access other accounts, probe or break our security, or reverse engineer the service.
- Resell or share access to the service without our written permission.
Our checker identifies itself and follows robots.txt. Sites can block it, and a blocked link may not be checkable.
8. Your data
You own the data you put into Backlink Tracker. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run the service for you, as the Privacy Policy describes.
You confirm that you have the right to give us the contact information you add, such as publisher email addresses, and to use it to contact those people about your links.
9. Third-party services
The service works with third-party services such as Google (Gmail and sign-in) and Stripe. Your use of them is also governed by their own terms. We aren’t responsible for how they operate, or for outages on their side.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or remove features. If we ever shut the service down, we’ll give account holders at least 30 days’ notice and refund any prepaid time you haven’t used.
11. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t warrant that check or indexing results are complete or accurate, or that using the service will recover links or improve search rankings.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost rankings, lost traffic or money paid for backlinks, even if we were told they were possible.
Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13. Your responsibility for claims
If someone makes a claim against us because of messages you sent, data you added, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.
14. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account at alishiman2000@gmail.com.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we must to comply with the law. Where we reasonably can, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close your account without cause, we refund any prepaid time you haven’t used.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we’ll email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
